Delivery Driver / Material Handler
Pay: $12$16 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM with OT available
Days: Monday Friday

Job Brief:

We are seeking a motivated Delivery Driver / Material Handler to join our team and ensure timely accurate delivery and handling of essential materials. In this role youll play a vital part in maintaining operational efficiency by coordinating the movement of orders and supporting warehouse activities. Our ideal candidate has strong experience in delivery driving and material handling excellent organizational skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Delivery Vehicles: Safely transport materials to assigned locations.
• Order Retrieval & Preparation: Pick load and confirm orders for accuracy before delivery.
• Loading & Unloading: Follow safety protocols when handling heavy materials.
• Maintain Work Area: Keep loading zones organized for smooth operations.
• Customer & Team Communication: Coordinate deliveries with customers and team members to ensure a positive experience.
• Vehicle & Equipment Inspections: Report maintenance issues and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
• Inventory Support: Assist with tracking materials and inventory management.
• Warehouse Assistance: Handle and stock materials when not on delivery runs.
• Uphold Service Standards: Maintain quality and safety standards in all tasks.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience as a delivery driver or material handler is preferred.
• License: Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with safe loading/unloading practices.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Organization: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for customer and team interactions.
• Logistics Knowledge: Basic understanding of supply chain or logistics is a plus.
