McLaren Northern Michigan is looking for a Urologist to provide IP/OP coverage starting in December!

• 5/23/2025 7am 7am 5/26/2025

• 6/9/2025 7am 7am 6/16/2025

• 6/20/2025 7am 7am 6/23/2025

• 7/7/2025 7am 7am 7/14/2025

• 7/18/2025 7am 7am 7/21/2025

• Practice setting: Inpatient and Outpatient call coverage. When the Locums is here there is an expectation of covering outpatient office and elective procedures as well as inpatient emergent calls.

• Percentage of practice: peds 1% adult 80% geriatric 19%

• Outpatient 90% Inpatient 10%

• Average number of office/clinic patients per day: 1520

• Average number of hospital based surgeries per day: 12 emergent 68 on elective surgery days

• Support staff: MA and receptionist

• Office equipment: PVR and Urolflow disposable cystoscopes bladder scanner

• Trauma level: 2

Rates to submit:
Malpractice must be included in rates
Orientation 1/2 the hourly rate
On call daily to include 8 hours of patient care
Holiday/OT 1.5x
Weekend call per 24 hours of call Sat/Sun
Call back per hour of patient contact hours
Conversion rate

Expenses covered by client will not exceed the limitations listed in the Travel & Expense policy between McLaren Health Care & AHSA.

Reverse Invoicing Provider will use Kronos to clock in/out. No paper timesheets will be used.

Flight car fuel mileage hotel is a BR50 cap (including taxes)

Do NOT reimburse Med Staff Fees

No lodging booked through 3rd party websites ie expedia kayak etc

McLaren is tax exempt and will not reimburse taxes on lodging

Requirement description : All must be notated at time of name clear

• Rates MUST be submitted at time of name clear will not be sent over without Required no exceptions
• BC Urology Required
• BLS Required
• DEA Verbal Confirmation Required at Name Clear
• Clean Background Required for quick privileging (provider will be redirected for multiple MP cases or high payouts)
• MI License in hand Required at time of clear
• COVID Vaccine

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

• BLS (AHA)
• Board Certified

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :

• Michigan

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
Weekend Requirements : See Dates
On Call Requirements : 24hour call
