Please note that this position does not guarantee set hours and may occasionally involve periods with limited or no work.
As a PRN Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, maintaining up-to-date patient medication profiles, and delivering exceptional care to each patient. You'll also have the opportunity to leverage your clinical expertise by conducting comprehensive medication reviews and providing targeted interventions to optimize patient outcomes.

What You'll Do
Ensure the accuracy of patient prescriptions and medication profiles.
Verify hard copy and digital prescriptions to maintain clinical integrity.
Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and ensure timely responses on the physician call line.
Supervise and manage incoming and outgoing prescription transfers.
Perform Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) to identify Medication Therapy Management (MTM) candidates and provide clinical interventions as needed.
Ensure compliance with all legal, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to various pharmacy-related tasks as needed to support the team.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in good standing.
Flexibility to work a variable schedule based on business needs.
Experience in pharmacist dispensing and prescription verification.
Clinical judgment and decision-making experience.
Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare partners.
