Aviva India, a life insurance firm, has announced the hiring of Asit Rath as CEO and managing director (MD).
Rath will take over for Amit Malik, who is departing the company after ten years, on July 11. Rath has 22 years of banking and insurance experience in India and Myanmar. He is now the CEO of Prudential Myanmar Life Insurance and has extensive distribution expertise from his time at ICICI Bank and ICICI Prudential Life in India.
