Accelya, a 1976-founded travel technology company, has announced the hiring of Funda Saltuk Stoica as its new chief human resources officer. She will be in charge of creating Accelya’s recruitment strategy in her new position to assist the company’s work in creating solutions for the international airline and travel industry.
Stoica is a thirty-year HR professional with experience in firms with an emphasis on technology. She previously held the position of head of IoT at Deltatel (Internet of Things). She has managed significant initiatives to build offshore talent centres with Alcatel Lucent and Veeam and hire technological professionals during her illustrious career.
“Funda [Stoica] comes to Accelya with an amazing experience of developing solid relationships across all stakeholders on a worldwide scale,” stated Jim Davidson, CEO of Accelya.
He also said they are thrilled to have her on the team and that she will be a huge addition as they continue to work toward their goal of becoming the employer of choice in their field.
The 46-year-old company Stoica’s announcement coincides with its ambitions to establish a talent development centre in Pune, India. Up to 500 of the top aviation and travel technology experts would initially be housed there. The cutting-edge “Centre of Excellence” will be established to hasten the aviation industry’s digital transformation.
