Logistics company Ecom Express is reportedly expected to hire 30,000 seasonal employees in anticipation of a surge of online order in the upcoming festive season.
The company has witnessed a rise in online orders as customers took to ordering essentials and medicines online during the pandemic, thus leading to a surge in hiring. Ecom Express added 7500 more employees to their 23000-strong workforce.
The company which delivers to even remote areas of the country is expected to hire employees from the metros as well as the Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities in anticipation of a rise in online orders in the coming months.
New staff will also be trained on COVID safety norms to ensure customer safety.
