Taking effect from June 6, Shashwat K. Mitra has joined automotive software giant KPIT as Head of Human Resources for India. In his new position, he will work on significant strategic projects that will improve KPIT’s capacity to find, keep, and develop talent, including developing the company’s employer brand as a “Best Place to Grow.”
He was Director of Human Resources at digital transformation services company AppDirect before joining KPIT. Before that, he oversaw major HR programmes for India while serving as head of HR for Cummins Inc.’s Global Analytics Centre. He has also worked with Mahindra and served as Eaton’s global HR manager. His specialities include talent management and development, business partnership, leadership coaching, employer branding, change & transformation, and HR analytics.
“At KPIT, I will work toward this shared aim of assisting the firm in unleashing and realising its potential, entrusting my team, and having a tight connection with business,” the employee said.
