Bhumika is a seasoned HR executive with more than two decades of expertise strategising HR-related operations. Her former employers include Airbnb, Snap deal, Adobe, and Yahoo.
Bhumika Srivastava has been named the new Global Head of Human Resources at Ethereum scaling platform Polygon, which onboards users to Web3.
Polygon’s recent hire comes on the heels of Tyler Sell-horn’s appointment as Head of Remote, demonstrating the company’s continued commitment to a fully decentralised workplace and a remuneration package on pace with Web3 firms.
One of Polygon’s largest issues is getting Web3 mainstreamed, and using people-centric solutions will help the company maximise its human capital’s potential in achieving its brand goals. Bhumika’s new job would require her to implement a robust HR strategy in order to improve employee experience and develop leadership and culture.
Bhumika was previously the Head of HR and Director of Employee Experience at Airbnb. Her more than two decades of HR management experience will be crucial to Polygon’s continued commitment to onboarding millions of new users to Web3 in a sustainable manner. Her former employers include Snapdeal, Adobe, and Yahoo.
“I am ecstatic to announce my hiring as Polygon’s Global Head of HR, a Web3 industry leader that knows the value of people.” I’ll be joining a team at Polygon that shares the same principles of sustainability, inclusivity, diversity, and growth in an exciting and fast-growing business. “I’m looking forward to the challenge of working with this ambitious group of extremely skilled individuals that place a high importance on innovation,” Bhumika Srivastava remarked.
Polygon’s entirely remote global employee base has grown rapidly, and Bhumika’s experience will be critical in leading future growth across the in-house and remote workforce. She will play a key role in developing a solid HR strategy to support the company’s rapid expansion.
